A suspense thriller that explores a families beliefs on same-sex marriage

While millions of Americans rejoice over the Supreme Court gay marriage decision, Michael Reed is in a desperate search for his boyfriend, Zach Tosh.When Zach is a no show for their special dinner celebration, Michael realizes something is drastically wrong. He secretly enlists the assistance of Private Investigator, Kylie Morgan, to help solve the mysterious disappearance of Zach after receiving no support from his prestigious parents, Pastor Colin and Congresswoman Camilla Reed, who have vehemently denounced their son’s “shameful lifestyle.” As Kylie begins to unravel clues to the puzzle, things take a sudden turn for the worse when Michael is found dead with a single bullet wound to the head inside of his very own apartment.Could the incidents of Zach’s disappearance and Michael’s death be related?

Convinced that the police have failed to initiate an in-depth investigation, Kylie tries to persuade Detective Anthony Woods to dive deeper into the case of Michael’s death. Skeptical of Kylie’s competence, Detective Woods ultimately capitulates and teams with her in an effort to solve the investigation. Patricia Mckenzie

Patricia Mckenzie is a multi-lingual, Gemini nominated (Canada’s Emmys) actor and producer based in LA and Toronto. She is best known as Robert Pattinson’s dangerous love interest in David Cronenberg’s Cosmopolisand for her work in Gangland Undercover, Charlie Jade and Soul Food as well as musicals such as The Lion King, and Chicago. Currently, Patricia is launching her award-winning short film and movement Bully Fighters to students across the US and Canada together with the American non-profit, Solve Violence. Also passionate about music, she is currently working on her second solo album. Patricia McKenzie plays the role of Kylie Morgan in Anathema.

Don Wallace

Don Wallace is most commonly known for his roles in television dramas. Wallace began his acting career appearing in such films as A Price Above Rubies, Colorz of Rage, and Hell’s Kitchen. He also was featured in the miniseries The Corner. He has also worked in television, participating in roles on Dellaventura and The Beat. Don has devoted his time to various credits such as Deadlineon Bravo, Night Visions on Fox, and Resurrection Blvd. Don has further worked on National Lampoon’s Van Wilder, Cold Case, and CSI: New York. Recently, he has tackled roles on Lie to Me, My Own Worst Enemy, and The Forgotten; and he has appeared in the films Fighting Tommy Riley, Blue, and Blue Bloods. Don Wallace plays the role of Detective Anthony Woods on Anathema.

Angie Everhart

Angie Everhart made her film debut with the action-comedy film, Last Action Hero. Since then, she has appeared in such features as Tales From the Crypt Presents: Bordello of Blood, Denial, Mad Dog Time, and Gunblast Vodka. Other films she has appeared in include Jade, Executive Target, Another 9½ Weeks, Sexual Predator, Bare Witness, Wicked Minds, Payback, Bigfoot, and Take Me Home Tonight. Angie has also appeared on several game and reality shows and television shows. She has appeared in Celebrity Mole: Yucatan, Hollywood Squares, and she has been a panelist on To Tell The Truth. Angie was also a co-host on the ABC reality show The Ex-Wives Club. Angie Everhart plays the role of Congresswoman Camilla Reed in Anathema

David Andrews

David Andrews is a highly versatile and consummate professional with roles that run the gamut in films such as World War Z, Apollo 13, Fight Club, Cherry 2000, and Fair Game, in which he was singled out for his powerful portrayal of Scooter Libby. David has also worked in television, starring as a series regular on JAG, The Monroes, Mann & Machine, The Antagonist, HBO’s 12 Miles of Bad Road, and the BBC’s Pulaski, for which he received an ACE Award nomination for Best Actor in the title role. He has also developed a long list of guest starring roles that span multiple Netflix hit series. David Andrews plays the role of Pastor Colin Reed in Anathema.
